The perfect way to de-stress and recharge. Spend a luxurious 45 minutes to one hour on the Reiki table with chakra crystals that amplify the effects of healing as blocks are released, allowing Ki (qi) to flow smoothly from your crown to your root. Add on service includes use of essential oils and chakra crystals as desired. Reiki energy will always flow where it is most needed first and always for your Highest Good. If there is a specific area you would like me to focus on, please include that in your order notes. Each Reiki session includes:

– Energy clearing and energy reading before our session
– 60 minutes of Reiki Healing
– A post-session debrief in which I will discuss details or insights from the Reiki session and you can ask any follow up questions
– One oracle card reading to provide guidance and a healing message to close the session.(This will be included in the follow up email after your session)

Distance (Remote) Reiki

Reiki energy travels easily everywhere; it’s not bound by geography or proximity. You can select a video or phone appointment–your choice. Like an in-person session, you will receive healing Reiki energy, which will balance and activate all 7 of your chakras and clear any blocks in your energy field so that it flows freely. For Distance Reiki, we will set up a time where you can tune into the energy being sent. For example, you can lie down, sit in meditation, or set aside some quiet time for yourself to be open to receive the Reiki. If those options do not work for you, we can schedule the session while you are sleeping or, you can simply be open to receiving the energy and healing wherever you are.

Animal Reiki

Like all living beings, animals are receptive to Reiki healing energy. Whether it's anxiety, pain, or illness, your pet will experience the gentle, non-invasive treatment to ease suffering. All animals–large and small, from the farm to the indoor cat–respond to Reiki treatments.* I use the most respectful and gentle approach that can help even the most sensitive or traumatized animals. Each treatment begins with a consultation with you, the pet owner, who will provide me with the necessary information about your animal, including history, current issues, and any ongoing concerns.A session may last anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the animal. Though I am the practitioner, the animal is in complete control. If the session cannot be completed as scheduled after I have arrived at your location, you may reschedule for a later date. A $15 consultation and travel fee will apply.

A Special Note About Cats

Cats are especially sensitive to Reiki energy and will benefit greatly from the approach of treating from a distance, meditatively and respectfully “offering” rather than physically and actively “giving” Reiki with physical contact (as is often done in human Reiki treatments). Employing this philosophy with all cats, even those comfortable and familiar with humans, results in a greater openness from the animals and thus greater successes in their treatments. If your cat is receptive to other humans, then by all means the session can occur in the cat's most comfortable environment.

FAQs

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. “Rei” means “Spirit” and “Ki” means “energy,” so the word “Reiki” literally translates to “spiritual energy.” It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

Though this healing practice is believed to have been used for close to a thousand years, Reiki as we know it today was developed in the early 19th century by the first Reiki Master, Usui Sensei. Its rapidly growing popularity means you might have plenty of questions about this Japanese healing technique.

The positive, healthy traits Reiki is capable of developing within us include patience, love of self and others, non-competitiveness. It moves us into a place of acceptance of others’ ideas and beliefs and helps us to be non-judgmental, empowers our ability to forgive, develops gratitude for friends and family and for all we have and experience, improves the quality of joy and peace we experience and most importantly increases our connection to the Source of Reiki so that an ever stronger feeling of safety develops as Reiki more easily guides our lives and watches over all that we do.

Reiki can help with relaxation, stress reduction, pain relief, improved sleep, and provide recipients of Reiki with a general sense of well-being. It can also help with emotional healing, spiritual growth, and personal development. To learn more about the healing benefits of Reiki, go to https://www.everydayhealth.com/reiki/#how-it-works

Absolutely. Since Reiki is energy, it travels anywhere and everywhere. Once a person has agreed to receive Reiki (one must consent; it’s never given without it), Reiki energy will reach you, whether you are in Spain, the North Pole, or next door.

How does this work? One the practitioner and recipient of the treatment have consulted and the practitioner is apprised of the recipient’s desires and needs, the treatment can be scheduled at a mutually convenient time.* The treatment can occur via phone, video call, or neither. As long as the recipient is ready to receive it and is in a comfortable position where they will not be interrupted, the energy healing will flow.

A complete Reiki session is offered to a fully clothed recipient who is lying on a treatment table or sitting comfortably supported in a chair. Most commonly, Reiki is offered through light, non- invasive touch with the practitioner’s hands placed and held on a series of locations on the head and front and back of the torso. The placement of the hands is never be intrusive or inappropriate, nor does the practitioner apply any pressure. Additional placements on the limbs and feet are done as needed (for example, if there is an injury or surgical scar), and some practitioners routinely do so. The Reiki practitioner can hold her hands just off the body if needed (for example, in the presence of an open wound or burn), and some  practitioners always offer Reiki in this way. Touching lightly or holding the hands slightly above the body is completely up to the client.

I aim to ensure that you feel safe, empowered, and in control of your healing, regardless of whether you have experienced trauma or not. Since trauma is stored in the body, Reiki energy work has been shown to play a part in the healing process, and my approach is informed by the guidelines set forth in the Crisis Prevention Institute’s “Trauma-Informed Care” publication. Since trauma experiences are complex and unique to each person, I take care to listen to your concerns and provide the best support and energy that I can.

A Tachyon is a subatomic particle that travels faster than the speed of light and possesses healing properties that go above and beyond traditional healing methods. Physicist David Wagner discovered how to harness Tachyon energy, a process which he patented in 1990. Since then, Tachyonized items (from water to a wristband to a blouse, or anything else, for that matter) harmonize our energetic bodies, promoting overall well-being and vitality. Whether we seek physical, emotional, or spiritual balance, Tachyon energy offers a fascinating avenue to explore and enhance our connection with the subtle energies that shape our existence.I make available to clients Tachyonized crystals as part of the Reiki session as an optional add-on for $10.You may purchase your own Tachyonized items at Advanced Tachyon Technologies by clicking on the banner below.

The short answer is yes; it does require extensive training from a Reiki Master Teacher. The ability to learn Reiki is not dependent on intellectual capacity, nor does one have to be able to meditate. It is simply passed on from the teacher to the student.  As soon as this happens, one has and can do Reiki. Because of this, it is easily learned by anyone.

The Attunement: Reiki is not taught in the way other healing techniques are taught. It is transferred to the student by the Reiki Master during an attunement process. This process opens the crown, heart, and palm chakras and creates a special link between the student and the Reiki source.

No, Reiki is not a religion. As a spiritual practice, albeit one without dogma and beliefs, Reiki is compatible with any religious philosophy. Your intention and commitment to receiving Reiki (opening to the flow of energy) has a direct relationship to your response and depth of healing.
